We recently worked with St Francis Xavier's School, Cairns, to help provide some alterations to their multi-purpose court.<br /><br />One of the biggest issue that staff and students were having, was the continued presence of birds on their courts. One of the key aspects of our alteration work was to provide adequate bird-proofing to the facility for health and safety reasons.<br /><br />One of the biggest challenges on this job was the high ceilings, meaning that almost all work had to be completed using elevator work platforms. Although this makes the job a little more difficult and time consuming, we think the end results speak for themselves! <br /><br />https://stage.collinsconstructions.com.au/

With only 5 weeks until handover, there's still a lot to keep us busy at Volvo Cairns. <br /><br />Since our last video, we've erected our external shell and installed our glazing. Our team is now working on the internal rough-ins and the frames, ready for sheets in the coming days. At the completion of the Cairns Hardware build on Lynch Street, we reflect on some of the more technical aspects of the project.
